GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

DATE & TIME
Please check the final programme to identify the date and exact time of your presentation.

The time allocated for each presentation is as follows:
- Plenary Lectures: 45 minutes (including discussion),
- Short Oral Presentations: 20, 15 or 10 minutes (including discussion).


UPLOADING PRESENTATION

All speakers are kindly requested to upload their presentations online before the Conference via Dropbox.

Presentations can also be uploaded in the Speaker Ready Room at least 3 hours before the beginning  of the session. Note: please bring your presentation file on a pen drive (USB memory stick).

Personal computers cannot be used for presentations in the lecture room.


Speaker Ready Room opening hours:

Monday, September 3, 2018: 15:00 – 18:00

Tuesday, September 4, 2018: 08:00 – 16:00

Wednesday, September 5, 2018: 08:00 – 16:00

Thursday, September 6, 2018: 08:00 – 16:00


We strongly advise you to upload your presentations as soon as possible to avoid technical problems.


PRESENTATION FORMATS
Acceptable presentation formats:
– PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx)
– Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf)

The Conference venue computers use Windows 10 Pro operating system and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) 2013.

All presentations should be prepared in 4x3 screen format. JPG images are the preferred file format for inserted images. If you need a specialized font it should be embedded into your PowerPoint presentation. If you have a video or audio file embedded in the presentation, we recommend using Windows Media (.wmv) or AVI formats.


If your presentation has any special or technically complex elements please make sure to get in contact with the staff in the Speaker Ready Room ideally one day before your scheduled presentation.


CERTIFICATES

Certificates of the oral presentation will be issued only upon request:

1) paper format – upon request at the Registration Desk during the Conference,

2) electronic format – upon email request after the Conference.
